Useful (Mostly Free) Windows Programs for the z/OS Programmer

Join us Tuesday, November 19, at 11:00 AM ET for our complimentary educational webinar Useful (Mostly Free) Windows Programs for the z/OS Programmer.

The days of hardwired green-screen terminals are (probably fortunately) long behind us. Nowadays, the primary means for a z/OS administrator to access the mainframe is through one of many available 3270 emulators. But there's more available to the z/OS programmer than merely substituting a PC program for the terminal they used in the 1970's. This month, we'll discover some PC-based applications that mainframers will find useful for system access, file manipulation and movement, and more. We'll look at some favorites such as WinSCP, Putty, FileZilla, VNC viewers, and others.
