Understanding ISPF PART II - Tables and Dynamic Areas
In February 2024, we discussed the basic components of an ISPF application - the Panels, Functions, Messages, Commands and Skeletons which can be combined to create an ISPF dialog. More complex and interesting dialogs often make use of ISPF tables and the table manipulation functions (TBCREATE, TBADD, TBDISPL and more). In addition, dialogs can include panels with dynamic areas that provide more flexible real-time display of information. In this webinar, we continue our exploration of ISPF with an introduction to these facilities along with some practical examples.
